Cityscape USA 2009 will take place at the Javits Centre, New York on the 18 and 19 November 2009. The exhibition and conference times will be announced shortly.

The Javits Center is a state-of-the-art exhibition centre centrally located in Manhattan. The centre contains all the facilities and amenities one would expect from an international venue.

Visas
Under the US Governments Visa Waiver Program nationals from the following 34 countries can travel to the United States for tourism or business purposes stays without a Visa for stay of 90 days or less:
Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Czech Republic*, Denmark, Estonia*, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary*, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia*, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Korea*, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia*, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom
* Nationals of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Republic of Korea and Slovakia will be able to travel without a visa under the Visa Waiver Program provided they possess a biometric passport and register on-line through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).
For participants who require a Visa to enter the United States we strongly recommend that you star the process as soon as possible because the process to issue a US Visa can take up to two months.

We strongly advise you to book your flights and accommodation early due to the high level of demand throughout the year. Special rates have been arranged with certain hotels in New York which Cityscape USA participants can benefit from.

Climate
New York has its own micro-climate because of all its energy use and the tall buildings. Typical temperatures in New York during November can range from 4°C (39°F) to 12°C (54°F). It is advisable that participants bring suitable warm such as hats, scarves and gloves.
